What kind of questions do people usually ask?
The most common request is about download links. It's easy to respond, you just send them a new download link. Other common situations are:
Bug reports when something didn't work right in the software, and you have to figure out how to solve the problem for the customer and explain what happened to the developers
Feature requests that need to be documented accurately
General questions about DJing: what type of software and hardware to use, etc
General questions about music production: how our products work with Ableton Live/Logic/Cubase/Pro Tools, et cetera
What skills we require:
1) You must be a DJ or a music producer. Part of our interview process involves us watching you play a DJ set or produce music
2) You must be a great communicator. Your emails have to be crystal clear and easy to understand. If we hire you, you become the "voice" of the company so your communication style is very important to us
3) You have to know the exact differences between Serato and Traktor. You must know how to use Ableton Live. We only hire people from inside the music industry because we want you to help OTHER producers and DJs accomplish things better and faster. You must be able to share your knowledge and teach others in a pleasant manner
